Non-Alcoholic Espresso Mocktail

Non-Alcoholic Espresso Mocktail

Non-Alcoholic Espresso Mocktail

Ingredients:

  • 50 ml cold brew coffee
  • 25 ml coffee syrup
  • 25 ml freshly brewed espresso
  • 10 ml simple syrup (optional)
  • Ice cubes
  • Coffee beans (for garnish)

Preparation:

  1. Main Mix:

    • Add the cold brew coffee, coffee syrup, freshly brewed espresso, and simple syrup to a cocktail shaker.

    • Fill the shaker with ice cubes.

  2. Shaking:

    • Secure the shaker lid tightly and shake vigorously for about 15-20 seconds. This step ensures all ingredients are well mixed and the mocktail is properly chilled.

  3. Serving:

    • Strain the mixture into a martini glass using a cocktail strainer.

    • Garnish with a few coffee beans on top.

  4. Serving Suggestions:

    • Coffee Bean Garnish: Add 3 coffee beans on top of the martini glass for a classic presentation. This adds visual richness and emphasizes the coffee aroma.

    • Chocolate Shavings: Sprinkle fine chocolate shavings on top to complement the coffee and create a delightful pairing.

    • Chilled Glass: Pre-chill the martini glass to keep the mocktail cold for longer, especially refreshing on hot summer days.

  5. Extra Tips:

    • Sweetness Balance: If you prefer a sweeter mocktail, you can increase the amount of simple syrup. Ensure the mixture is fully homogeneous.

    • Coffee Quality: Use freshly brewed, high-quality coffee to enhance the flavor of your mocktail. The better the coffee, the tastier the mocktail.

    • Chilling the Glass: For an extra refreshing experience, chill your glass in the freezer for a few minutes before serving the mocktail. This helps keep the drink cold for longer.

  6. Flavor Enhancements:

    • Vanilla Touch: Add a few drops of vanilla extract to the shaker before shaking to introduce a subtle vanilla aroma to the mocktail.

    • Creamy Texture: For a creamier texture, add a splash of cream to the mix. This adds richness and smoothness to the mocktail.

    • Citrus Burst: For an added citrus burst, include a splash of orange juice or a few drops of orange bitters.

    • This mocktail, with its rich coffee flavors, is an elegant and delicious option to offer your guests. Enjoy!
